Hey, I'm Simone 👋🏾✈️

I'm a UX designer and researcher with a wanderlust spirit based in Austin, TX.

With over a year of hands-on experience at Rainforest Partnership, I've developed a robust skill set spanning UX research, visual design, interaction design, team collaboration, B2C, B2B design, and team leadership.

From iterating landing pages to crafting websites from scratch, I've employed both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to deeply understand user needs and preferences. In addition to my professional endeavors, I've spearheaded impactful personal projects such as oTTo, a platform connecting amnesiac patients with caregivers, and contributed to a non-profit initiative focused on conservation efforts in Costa Rica.

As someone who has traversed the globe and embraced diverse cultures as an expat, my design journey is deeply rooted in the belief that every individual deserves to feel seen and valued. Through my global travels, I've gained firsthand insights into the richness of human diversity and the importance of equity in design. This profound appreciation for inclusivity and accessibility permeates every aspect of my work as a UX designer, where I strive to create digital experiences that resonate with people from all walks of life. Whether it's through intuitive interfaces, thoughtful interactions, or visually engaging designs, I draw upon my personal experiences to ensure that every user feels welcomed and empowered in the digital realm.

As I continue to evolve in the field of UX design, I am eager to tackle challenging projects that push the boundaries of innovation and allow me to further enhance my skills. My journey is one of continuous growth and learning, and I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead to make a meaningful impact through design.

In my free time, I love...

reading, coloring, drawing, watching comedy shows, Latin American and Caribbean dancing (did anyone say Bachata?!), hiking, kayaking, rock climbing, listening to live jazz and blues bands, and most importantly, exploring and traveling the U.S. and the world.
